Dr. Bankim Chandra Nandy is a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics of Bharat Technology (Pharmacy College), Banitabla, Beltala, Uluberia, Howrah, West Bengal. In addition to earning his B. Pharm. from Jadavpur University, Kol-32, W.B., he also received his M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from BIT, Mesra, Ranchi. In Assam, he completed his doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Dibrugarh University. He serves as an editorial board member for a number of reputable national and international journals and he has also contributed book chapters to other well-known worldwide publishers. Additionally, at many reputable institutions, he has given invited talks. He has guided numerous PhD and Master's degree students, and his work has been published in several respectable national and international journals. His main area of research is exploring the various novel approaches of drug delivery system and developing new technologies for delivery of poorly water soluble drugs.
