Myself Dr. Shaileyee Das, Associate Professor, Bharat Technology. I have awarded my PhD in Pharmacy from Jadavpur University. I have 1 year Industrial experience (Quality Assurance Department as Chemist cum Microbiologist) and 9 years Research experience. I have done interdisciplinary work (Biostatistics, Natural Product Chemistry, Ancient Ethnomedicine, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Nanomedicine) for my PhD project. Teaching and research are my passions. Since the time of my Ph.D., I’ve been associated with the academic sector. As an educator, I don’t just like to teach students, I also have to keep upskilling, share daily experiences of that particular topic and learn the current trends. Sharing knowledge, giving education, and teaching about life is the primary responsibility of a teacher. My duty is to make sure that students understand what is being taught to them in the classroom or in online teaching or in e-learning setup. Students understand real-life examples easily and quickly. As a teacher while teaching should connect various subjects to real-life situations and try to make topics understandable to them. I understand what my students need as they are the closest companions. Demonstrating even the difficult topics with the help of real-life examples make it easier for teachers and students as well. At last not the least, I am always coming up with innovative ideas.
